Turkey Fan/Beard/Feet mounting

I am looking for a good mounting kit/plaque that will allow me to display the turkey's fan , beard, and feet. I have seen several mounting systems in the various supply magazines but most just display the tail and beard or just the tail. Can anyone reccommend a system that will display all three. I would like to make sure the 1 5/8 inch spurs on this bird get the deserved attention. Unfortunately, the bird had excessive feather damage and I could not mount him. Thanks for the help.

i never did like the feet on a beard mount. so i came up with this ideal. cut & remove the spurs & skin them run bone on a wire wheel to remove any loose skin . clean out center of bone with some borax & a wire. then after it dries but a coat of clear coat on it . then go to any craft store/Wal-Mart & get a brass ring cut it to the size that will fit you "face plate " were the tail will set.then run the spurs onto the rod . i drill out the eadge of the face plate to offset the brass rod.you can even get some wooden beads to use as spacers .i use the walnut creek turkey tail system with this .if any questions i thy & find a pitcure of this to show .

All the responces in the archives are basicly the same.Remove all fat & meat you can.My fans were injected with formaldihide, with bone in,spread to dry, tacked on a board. When dry,rub in borax & mount.Mine are fine.Been moved & stored & still in good shape. The beard was inserted into a hole drilled at an angle & epoxed in place under the fan.Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck! Carl
