I am doing a fan/wing mount on a turkey. First I rinsed the turkey wings in water and fleshed them out. The shiny feathers on the wing are all broken up in little pieces.Can I wash the skin and put it in the dryer. Will all the wing feathers come out fine. I dont have a tumbler, do I really need this or can I use something in place of this. I also dont know what to do about the wings when i mount it. I took the bones out. Will it be alright if I clean the bones, run wire around them, and sew the incision back up.

Why have you taken it this far without knowing what you're doing? If you want to do this on your own, read and learn HOW to do it first, then start on a piece. God knows there's plenty of info. on here as well as books, videos, etc... to help the masses learn taxidermy. If you've already removed the bones you'll have a heck of time putting it all back together in an anatomically correct position.
