I want to make my own mount board appuratus for a tail fan and would like to know how the boards are configured and attached to each other. I assume the fan is sandwiched between the back and front boards but there must be some recessed factor that the bondo peice that holds the fan fits into. Clear as mud?

if you dont want to buy a plaque, for a mount, a piece of 2 1/2 foot of saw mill wood works nice with the fan tail and you can put your spurs on a piece of leather or hang the feet and all from a nail. this looks real rustic.
