Pheasant waddle rebuild.

I looked at about a thousand posts and didn't see what I am looking for. I mounted a pheasant and the waddles shriveled up a bit at the bottom edges. I was successful in splitting them but not to the very edge as I had hoped! Is it possible to trim them and rebuild them with apoxie sculpt or something similar? My idea is to trim the shriveled edges, rebuild then with apoxie sculpt and cover with a little flocking and airbrush on gill red. What do ya think?

Thank you!

Not really. It'll look like you trimmed them and added epoxy. One of the toughest lessons I ever learned was that you can't mount a bird and walk away. You have to stay with it several times a day, every day, until it dries. It's easy to keep them sharp if you reshape them with your fingers every day. Be very carefull you don't pull hard on them.

can I hydrate it again?

Not sure if you will look at this post again but can I rehydrate again?

Thanks for all your help!
