What to use as a final degreaser on a duck?

Got my first duck cleaned and wire wealed, I need to now what to use as a final soak? somone told me to use a water / denatured alcahol solution . I need some input .

Give your duck a good washing in any powdered laundry detergent or dawn use lukewarm water let sit for ten minutes rinse well with cold water, sew any holes up give a final dunking in acetone about 30 seconds to displace any left over moisture then hand tumble in borax until all downy feathers are fluffy final blow dry on cool air
