slo zap glue on turkey feathers

I just finished gluing the skin to an artificial turkey head, and got a good amount of glue on the feathers right in front. what would be the best way to remove it without damaging the feathers?

try using nail polish remover which has acetone in it. if that doesn't work try tolulene. keep these solvents off your painted turkey head, or you'll be re-painting. this won't damage the feathers. soak a piece of cotton batting liberally and lay it on the effected area and allow it to soak into the hardened glue. wipe away with mineral spirits, and allow it to air dry. good luck!
