I am getting ready to mount my first full strut turkey. Any advice on getting the breast and back feathers to set and dry like they need to be would be greatly appreciated. I have heard that injecting caulk inside the skin helps.

No expert hear but I had a good result by injecting caulking and hanging it upside down to dry. Learned it from a video I got from WASCO. Cant remember who was in it though?
Had a 3 part series on Turkey mounting. Cally Morris did the article and it was very informative. The caulk is used and works great. There was no need to hang the bird upside down because the caulk holds the feathers in place. I am not sure which 3 issues it was in but someone else here on the forum might know

Make sure you have plenty of space between the form anf the skin. If the skin "fits" the form, you will not beable to stand the feathers up.
Like Todd suggested, the Cally Morris articles are great!
A couple of years ago he started using calk in his mounting procces and it makes things easier.
