Buy the Breakthrough Bird FInishing Manual

It's in there along with all the other common waterfowl. By the way, the proper name for the bird is the "White Fronted Goose".

George, I have used the manual and it is not looking like a white front bill to me. It comes out to dark and when I pray flesh back over it, it makes it worse. Thanks for the help.

the white front is one of the hardest bills to paint accurately for me too. and right up there with them is the snow goose. there are so many underlying and almost transparent colors on there that all work together to make the real one look the way it does. i wish i could give you a cure all for it, but i havent found it yet.

ill agree, the Breakthrough manuals paint schedule isnt all that hot.

We get alot of specs( speckle bellied)geese down here in Texas. I think I can help you out. E-mail me and I'll send you my paint schedule.George is correct on the proper name but most hunters would'nt agree... they always call them speckle bellied down here. But what do us guys in Texas know. LOL
