I do not have any experience with these feet so I am hoping to tap some experience here. How...thats my main question. The next is..could you use these for commercial mounts on other species and paint them to match? Or would it be that noticable? Sorry but I have not seen them to make a well informed judgement.Bones in or out? Difficulty in blending in with leg feathers? Any advice would be appreciated. They do seem a little spendy though.
Thanks,
Mike

In the last issue of Taxidermy Today, thier was an article on mounting a surf scooter. In it, was a way of preserving the feet, where they were removed, than re-atached. I would follow that metheod with artificial feet.I would say that most people would'nt notice using diferent species feet, as long as they were similar in size and type- divers for divers, ect. Most ducks dont have the same size feet in the same species, anyways. Good luck.
