I am about to attempt my first flying turkey. I was wondering, will Joe Ferebee's flexible wings work on a flying turkey?

I know I am inexperienced, I have done < 15, but I have tried skinning the wings completely out and only found aggrivation and disappointment with using wing inserts and such.
It is so hard to get the feathers to dry right, and not move without leaving the primary wing feathers attached to the bone. I know you can do, the pros make it look easy, but I would leave them on the bone and just remove the meat attached to the bones.
Not worth much, but my two cents.
