I was curious after looking at reference photos that crows and ravens have many similar features. There is of course a size difference and there also seems to be a "hump" where the beak starts on the ravens. My question is if you had a very large crow could you use an epoxy sculpt to "re-create" this hump and create a raven? Or am I just not looking at the right photos?
Thanks

Ravens are roughly twice the size of xl crows. They are big birds. You'd have to have a whole artificial head for one - the beak is larger in all dimensions, not just the nares, new legs and feet, and a lot of larger, bigger feathers.
It would be a great challenge. Good luck to you.
Tony Finazzo has goos repro raven heads (minus feathers). You could use those on a raven mannikin and be well on your way.
Okay, maybe that's not a project to tackle right now .... I'll just tell my wife to happy with a crow ...LOL!
