drift wood for in a terrerium

is the same procedure used to clean driftwood for an aquarium and a terrerium for my pet snake?

Yes but these are not the same techniques used for taxidermy - so be careful what advice you follow as there are several optrions in teh archives. Prolonged freezing of the wood won't harm your critters, but putting the wood in a bag ad spraying fumigant in it is to be avoided.

Also since you are using it for critters, coating the wood with spar varnish or zoopoxy is a good idea. Spar varnish can be bought from many hardware stores and any place that sells boat supplies. Zoopoxy can be found by searching for it on google. One place that has it is Sculpture Supply Canada.
