I lucked out and was gifted a gorgeious pair of hooded mergansers by a friend to mount for my shop display.I want to do the drake with a small minnow in his mouth that is hanging down curved like they do when dead.Where can I get such a minnow? it needs to be small and realistic.

To make minor repairs to the freezed dried minnow. Some have broken fins. Repair them by backing the fin with waxed paper and applying a thin coat of 5 minute epoxy with a cheap brush. The epox will fill the gaps and remain transparent.
We use the Hide and Beak products and they are pretty good, with the exception mentioned above. The fix is quick and simple.
