How do you get a hooded maganser hood to have a natural look. How to you skin ones head,I want to use a fake head would this be alright to do on this type of duck. I have mounted plenty of ducks before but never a hooded meganser. thanks

The new issue of Taxidermy Today has an article on the Hooded Merganser using an artificial head. Very informative on building up the neck and head.
I've got a couple of Hoodies in the freezer I shot last season that need mounted. I previously did a search and found your question had been asked numerous times. Lot's of good stuff if you do some checking.
