Artificial head problems

I use zap-a-gap gel to glue all of my duck skins to the head, but after a day or so the skin starts to pull away from the head and takes the paint on the bill with it. Can anybody tell me what i'm doing wrong?

You need to scrape the paint overspray away from the plastic before you superglue it down. Otherwise you risk this everytime. a pocketknife or other blunt object works fine.

Ive found that takeing a small or I should say tiny drill bit in the dremel and make little anchor hole's around the perimeter of the bill will also help in conjunction with the overspray removal as Jon suggested..Ive had excellent results with latex caulk altho the drying time is a little longer..It sets fairly fast while I am blow drying the skin however...
