I cannot BELIEVE what I did today. I mounted a pheasant, all groomed and finished up, just didn't look quite right to me. Not being satisfied, I groomed him for HOURS trying to get the look I wanted but still something was amis. I asked my wife to take a look and she thought it looked great so I figured I must be being too critical (one of my faults). I went to the bedroom to watch the pregame show and it hit me like a bag of rocks, I BENT THE KNEES THE WRONG WAY! Now, after some alterations and more grooming, I am satisfied. LOL, sure am glad I found it sooner than later. Heck, I even had reference...LMAO!

...don't think I would have bragged about that.
to laugh at my silly mistakes and move on.
And I did the same thing. I looked at it and saw a problem. Some of the feathers around the neck looked odd. I then realized that the head was turned a full 360 degrees.

I've had more than one student fight birds into the reverse knee position. It's quite a revelation when it finally dawns on you isn't it? lol (laughing with you)
BW
but just the mental image of that pheasant with its knees bend the wrong way is hillarious. What's seven funnier is that your wife didn't catch it either. LMAO
Yep just when ya think youve got the groove.....
Funny how a picture next to the bench helps..I use the puter...
I only have one question HOW the hell did ya get them to go backwards? The joint wont go?
And yes, Evelyn once I figured it out and the panic subsided and I realized "I still have time to fix it" it was hilarious. I wish I had thought to take some pics of it like that, looked like a man walking who had been "tarred & feathered".
Wally, I used a heavier wire than I normally use so I didn't give the resistance a second thought....LOL...I'm STILL laughin at myself. The worst part? I DID HAVE A PICTURE RIGHT BESIDE ME!
