When using a artificial Head for a pheasant do you skin out the wattles and use them on the head or do you cut them off and paint the wattles on the artificial? I have never used a fake for pheasants I always use the real one, but i don't like how the wattles shrink and distort on the real head.

I believe the repro heads are cast with all parts in tact . Should be able to just paint it and use it .
