My problem is I have a large canada goose to mount with the carpal (wrist) broken. The ulna and humerus are intact, but the wing bone is completly broken into at the wrist. I'm wondering what ideas you may have to fix this problem. The customer wants the goose heavy cupped feet out, mouth open hangging from ceiling.By the way how is the best way to skin out the wing on a large flying birds? Thanks ED MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL>.

wing as normal by either inverting or by incision under the wing i would probobly invert, clean meat off from bones and then repair the broken wingtip by running a wire down the tip and then attaching that wire to one of the bones you cleaned of meat. Proceed with the rest of the mount as usual. Usually leaving the secondaries attached to the bone is your best bet so skinning under the wing would work as well just be sure to do a clean incision and then super glue the skin back in place after you run your wires. Good Luck
