bird fleshers

can anyone tell me how many RPMs a bird flesher rotates at or what the ideal RPM range is?

I built a wire-wheel flesher a couple years ago and it works excellent. Your RPMs should range between about 1500 and 1725 and don't use anything bigger then 1/4hp electric motor, that way if you tangle the skin, the motor will stop turning before it rips the skin.
