I only do taxidermy as a hobby, however a few people have been wanting me to mount ducks for them. This year I have mounted a few for people but this young man wants me to mount one cupped up like he is coming in. I know the position he is refering to but I have never mounted one in this position. He wants it on a piece of driftwood coming out of the wall. Do any of you have a picture of this position on any of your websites? Also any helpful hints on this position would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Without a Federal Migratory Waterfowl Permit, you can't legally mount ducks for anyone other than yourself. You said "hobbiest" and it makes me believe you don't do this seriously. If either state or federal guys ever inspect you, you'll be in big trouble without it.
