I'm having problems with my first quail. I've been preening feathers for two days and the down is still showing. Is there someone with a trie and true method for fixing this problem? Thanks, Rope

Sounds like you may have to big of a body under those feathers?
I noticed that the neck was too long because the neck feathers were not covering the skin around the back side. The body's probably too large and the feathers are sticking up. Thanks Don. I see your responses to other questions and your a god send. Have a great day.
