I ordered a mallard set from McKenzie standing pose. I was wondering if i could use that to do the landing pose. I just got my Taxidermy Today mag and love that mount they have featured in there. Jack F

If you understand the anatomy of the subject you can alter the form to make a flying body. It's just the leg position that is different.
Make sure you change the form to put the wings where you want them.

I believe you get the same body when you order either flying or standing sets in McKenzie(Joe F), so that won't be a problem...You will just have to make a little adjustment to the mannequin in the leg area...However, the neck you will have problems with...You can try to straiten out "S" curve, but the foam will probably rip...You'll most likely want to rap your own neck! Make sure the Mallard hen body isn't too big...I know on the drakes, they run really big... Good Luck!

Thanks
