Does anyone have a paint schedule for the ever so popular game bird known as the....Coot? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll beat George on this one and direct you to the archives, where Tony Finazzo outlined paint schedule for someone back on May 05, 2004. The orange "search" button will get you started, use "coot" as your search word. Good Luck
I looked but did not find it. I saw that someone else had asked the question but, nobody answered it.
I did one the other day is how I know,I'll quote Tony's response from that entry..."For the bill. I use an Ivory or off white over a dark base color. Then paint the lobe and band of the bill with a dark red. The red white junction should be crisp without much blending. Sometimes I get back about ten inches and barely mist yellow ocre. Not enought to see without intense light. The feet are really cool. Start with a white base coat. Medium green is sprayed on the toes barely coloring the lobes of the toes. Darker on the shaft of the toe. Finish spraying with a light mist of white pearl. Then use a black stain to highlight between the scales."Hope this helps, it worked pretty well with my reference from a book.Tony how does it feel to be a legend!?
