I was wondering what is the correct color for a hooded merganser hen's feet.I believe it is a yellowish color,just want to make sure.

Not so much yellow and more grey. Hens are not near as yellow as the males. I paint mine gray with dark lobes and webs, slight shading over the joints. Of course color varies from time of year and diet and who knows what. Maybe slight yellow on main parts of the leg and toes but not much. Hope that helps...
