Corn Cob Grit or Saw Dust?

I was just starting in waterfowl taxidermy and was wondering what would be best in my tumbler corn cob girt of hardwood saw dust?

I use corn cob grit in both my mammal and bird tumblers. I've never used hardwood, so I don't know how well it works. For me, corn cob works great.

How's this for a guy who can't make up his mind? I've tried both and couldn't decide. So, I'm currently using a 50/50 mixture of the two.
