Crow

Are crows a particularly dirty bird? Are they safe to handle as other birds? Is West Nile Virus a big concern? Besides the normal precdautions (wearing rubber or latex gloves), is there any thing else one should do?

Should not worry.

I do not know of anything being dirty about them. I have mounted them and saw nothing any different than any other bird.

West Nile won't be a problem if it was taken after the first frost. Also, you can't get West Nile unless you eat it, get bitten by it, or directly touch its blood, so double glove up. If I didnt get sick from doing some rats, chances are you are safe from a crow.

Nah..
