I use the Zap gel in the tube.I end up wasting most of it because the tube cracks and the tip plugs up bad. Found out the only way to open up the end without ruining the tube is to drill out the hole.Has anyone experenced problems like me? Patrick

I just try to make sure the tip is clean/clear before I seal it. Try the super glue that comes in the 3-4 oz. bottles with the long spout, they are easier to maintain, or goto Joann's fabric and get the locktite superglue in the 1 oz. bottles you squeeze on the side that one stays pretty clear by itself..
i seem to lose most of my glue because of the air bubble that is trapped inside from the manufacturer. about half way through the tube i will have a ton of glue come spurting out until the air behind it is released.
I use the zap a gap and it's gotta be about 1000 times cheaper in the long run than those tubes. Mine is all crusted up and I can't even get the top all the way on any more. I've been shoving a pin in the hole to keep it flowing. The pin sometimes gets stuck but pliers twisted gets her out and the juices a flowin! I'm on the same bottle for over a year now...
Yes, I have the same problems with the GEL tubed glue so I swithed to SLO-ZAP CA Its thinner but I like it. It also doesn't seem to leave a whitish residue aroung the bills like the gel does, I don't know why, and its also easier to get out of the container.
