Ive looked in the archives, Ive learned the differnces between some of the injectable products out there, but i cannot find anything on what you can use to thin Epo-Grip down so I can use smaller needles. I tried laquer and acetone but something tells me it not the right stuff to be using. And is Enviro Tex a similar product that can be used in the same manners as Epo-Grip? If someone could shed a little light it would be appreciated.

Is a pourable high gloss finish. It is thick and syrupy
I don't know how you'd ever get an epoxy any thinner than this product.
Yes, George that is what I have. It is still pretty thick and it doesn't flow into the webbing very well. I took a few day seminar with a top guy, I won't mention any names but I swear when we did the feet we used enviro tex and thinned it so we could use insulin needles. I use enviro tex for habitats and stuff. I like the properties of Epo-Grip i'd just like to thin it some.
Go to Lowe's and buy a small container of Xylene. Steve at Newton Supply will be able to help you (1-800-888-2467) but you're not going to be able to thin it much more without losing some of its properties I'd fear. I thin the other epoxies up to about 30% sometimes.
I use 22ga with pourakast without thinning. If you add Lq thinner or paint to color it kicks it faster. After haveing a masters blend kit go south on me at the high cost I tried many others.
You can thin pourkast but be pre pinned and ready to go..You can do small CC loads and clear the needle inbetween with thinner to save needles..AT $65 for 2 gallons its pretty cheap to use and takes color well.
It all can work IF used right......
Well...at the shop where i work we use only masters blend,it works very well. as for the kit going south I,ve never had that happen before. good luck
