I am part of a group that is putting together an emu skeleton as a project for our college Anatomy class. We've dug it up and are now having trouble finding info about the # of vertebrae, (and bones in general). If anyone has any info they could send us, or at least something that can point us in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might find help in the biology/science supply catalogue. I keep an old copy in my shop just for reference. The pictures are helpful. Ask your professor or the lab assistant if there is one around the lab. Look in the skeleton section. Also, your high school science teacher may have a copy. Or contact the supply company directly and request one.
Did a search for ya and found this site that has a few Emu skeleton pictures . Hope it helps . http://www.amonline.net.au/birds/gallery/skeletons.htm
