From what I have heard, freeze dried turkey heads are the only way to go (as far as looks). The problem is, I cant find a whole lot of info on getting them. I found a few places that claim they will freze dry a turkey head if you send it but they have no pictures to show. If anyone has good dealings with a company, or person who can do this I would really appreciate it. And if someone knows where I might be able to see some pictures of some..I would appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Cally Morris at Hazel Creek Inc. has one of the best heads i have seen....He is the only guy i deal with.
I agree that a freeze dried head looks more realistic. The only problem is that some folks do a crappy job freeze drying them. I think an artificial looks better than most freeze dried heads, simply because of the shape of the head is usually not correct. I also see lots of F/D heads that still have a ton of shrinkage in the crown, wattles, and snood.
If you go with Hazel Creek (cally Morris) or Anhony Eddy, you should get nice F/D heads.
I'd go with Hazel Creek.
gets my business. They can f/d yours or you can buy them already f/d. BP
I havent sent one in yet, but i have one of there heads that i received down at the worlds and i met cally. He is a nice guy and i plan on sending my turkey heads to him this spring. They are the best heads that i have ever seen. Anthony Eddie uses fake eyelids i believe as to where cally uses the real ones that came on the bird.
Thanks for the input everyone. I appreciate it.
