Did anyone attend the Newmyer habitat seminar at the 2003 World Show? I was hoping to pick up the video but have been told it won't be released. If anyone was there and took notes I would appreciate talking to them as the room was full and I was unable to get in to here him that day. Thanks

I was fortunate enough to see Frank Newmeyer at the PTO convention.
He did a fantastic job there w/ a hands on seminar. The man is a wizard on birds. Im sure he has a video offered. I saw several videos being sold. If not the world conference video something similar. I would tell anyone to buy them. I was very happy for all the info I absorbed. I also wouldnt hesitate to purchase wrapping bodies or any of his eyes and heads. What a pro. If you have the money ... Shoot up to Michigan and take a coarse one on one w/ him. I would bet that you'd be completely amazed.
I already have a couple of his videos, however they are older. I was also fortunate enough to attend one of his seminars several years ago on bird mounting and you are right, he is a wizard at bird taxidermy and habitat. I was interested to hear about some of his newer techniques from someone who attended the 2003 show seminar.

It sounded like Im on Frank's payroll. If you had an email I would have wrote you a second response. If you find this now... You might try going to his Website off the front Of Taxidermy.net I looked it up right after the PTO seminar to see if I could drop him a thank you note. I did. While I was milling around the site I do believe that I saw a habitat link. I havent went back to confirm this prior to blabbing about it to you. I recall it being there though. It most likely is a dated video (not as current as the WTC) I will buy some videos myself when the weather breaks in Ohio. Been a rough one for us this year. Cya
