i need to repaint a bird. the guy who painted it sprayed the bill and feet black. he used a lacquer based paint. i want to use a water base paint and use the correct paint scheme. it was a redhead. do i need to removed the lacquer or can i paint right over it.

You could probably overpaint the bill and feet, but it's best to strip it with laq. thinner and start over. good luck..
