I am new at this and am going to try to mount my turkey this year. Just the beard tail and feet, so if anyone out there could e-mail me some pics so I have a good idea what a good mount looks like I would be thankful.

This is just my observation, but my customers are shying away from the feet. They like the spurs cutoff, cleaned up and polished and displayed on the board strung on a piece of leather or something similiar. The feet dried and put on the board straight out hides the spurs, or if you mount them criss-crossed they just get nasty over time. Besides, that's all you want to see on the feet anyway is the spur, so why bother with the rest. That's my take on it..... To display the tail properly it must be finished off. Before I mount the tail in the board slot, I hot glue on a row of secondary feathers to hide the gray downy part of the first row of feathers. This gives it a nice uniformed finished look. good luck
