Pheasant tail question

I was wondering if i should remove the tail from the bird just like a turkey tail and bondo it up? Also the tail was shot and it has a pellet hole right in the middle on the longest tail feather. It is still attached and i wanted to know if i could put some 90second epoxy on it and dry it hard? Also the same tail feather is curved, what can i do to make it straight?

I usually remove my pheasant tails simply so I don't have to worry about them being broken in the freezer. However, they can be done with ease if left attached to the pelt. If you choose to remove, the process is the same as with the turkey tail, yes.

The broken feather.. If you have any spare feathers, try and pluck it and replace it. If not, then it can be repaired. I would take a small piece of wire, or a long pin or some sort, and insert it into the shaft so that both sides of the break are connected.. Then I would put a drop of super glue over the break.. It should hold fine that way.
