There is a new angle to the Handbook of the Birds of the World. Together with the Internet Bird Collection, there is an attempt to gather video of all birds in the world available for free on the internet. Only a small number are now available for viewing, but I would imagine in a period of time, most will be. I viewed about a dozen videos, some quite good. The index is taxonomically arranged or can be searched by genus or species.
I would think a fast hook-up would be required.
