eyes for real pheasant head

I am going to mount a pheasant using the real skull. Do I just try to skin the meat off the head and build it back up with clay? What kind of eyes are best to use? The eyes on a wire or round eyes or just flat sided. I will be using tohickon brand so if anyone can tell me what they are called i would appreciate it.

yes, you should get all the meat off the skull and rebuild it with clay or other material. the best looking eyes are the 124 style.

You want to order their 124 series BLENDED pheasant eye. They will give you the average size for the bird.
