Bird Flesher

Just looking for opinions...

I'm going to buy a fleshing wheel and have seen basically two. WASCO and McKenzie both sell the wooden box one, and Van Dykes sells the Danny Owens/half moon looking one. Which one is the best and am I missing any other ones that any of you really like? Thanks... Rich

I have an angle flesher (gifted to me) and the Van Dykes half moon flesher I just baught. They both work great. If you can only have one then go with the half moon one its a great tool if you set it up right. I have used the Box style as well my friend has one. I dont care for the size as my shop is small. The half moon Van Dykes is easy to store out of the way. I have made it so that it hangs over the edge of one bench for use. When not in use I can remove it and store it. Jack F
