What duck do you think would/does make the most beautiful mount?

I am fond of wood ducks and also Mandarin ducks. but they are thin skinned and also have alot of feather patterns to contend with. But they are beautiful.

I love all ducks, but I will tell you a surprise. I mounted a pair of Ruddy Ducks, male and female, swimming together. The male did not have his breeding plumage, and was pretty plain. But up close, both duck's feathers were so shiny, they almost looked like silver glitter. They were so beautiful, and the mount came out great (if I do say so myself!) Who would've thought, plain old Ruddy Ducks?
I think an "christmas tree" drake shovler duck is real hard to beat. I love the way they come into a set of decoys, or swimming on the pond, (they kind have a cluck sound) and with that green head white chest, I love them. Having said that a great cinnamon teal is a gorgous little duck too. Just an opinion. Bob. Fresno Ca.
My favorite is a Gadwall hen and a Pintail hen they have great markings and have a very soft and graceful aperance. Thats just my opinion
What do uou think about the European red-crested pochard? it is the best one for me; just rufous, white, buffy and all intermediate colours; what do you think about, Bob J.

I hate to argue with Bob, because I've seen and received one of each of those Spoonies and Cinnamons from Fresno, and yes they sure are pretty, but thin skinned little buggers, I love the contrasting colors of those little butterballs (Buffleheads), and they sure do flesh easier! Hands down prettiest duck is the Harlequin. Bob can you help me out?
Drake Gadwall or Drake Goldeneye.
the drake shoveler is one of the best.
Just because I want one ... ! :)
