I have a customer that wants a pair of ducks done for a hanging dead mount with his old bird strap however, he wants them hanging from their necks as the strap is made for and is how he used to carry them. If anyone has any good reference pictures I could use them. Can't find any on the web (All hanging from the legs) I need to see how everything hangs from this attitude and utilize the bird's colors as well.thanks for the help

archives there are some tips on this from a few months ago. I have not ried dead birds hanging from the neck because it messes up the feathers, but i have read that guys run an anchor wire out of the breast or the back depending on which side will be facing you and anchoring them to the back of the display like you would a flying bird. that way the pressure is off of the neck feathers and they dont get messed up by the strap. good luck
