Is it legal?

Is it legal to buy/sell green turkey skins to or from Wisconsin? I'm looking for a skin to practice with. It will just be a breast mount so that part of the skin is all I'm concerned about. If anyone can help drop me a line.

Joe. As of now it is not legal to sell turkey parts (ncluding heads) in Wisconsin. There has been an effort to changethat but, you know how fast the DNR works in this state.

Hi Joe T, I forgot to mention that it is legal to buy turkey skins or parts from another state as long as it is legal to sell them in that state. If you do buy from out of state, make sure it is legal and that you get a receit from the seller with name and address. Hope this helps.

turkeys from other legal states but you can't sell a bird taken in wisconsin?

I'm going to call the DNR all I need is to buy a couple birds don't care where they come from, hopfully everything works out.
