Been having trouble getting the birds wing feathers smooth and no gaps. Did blue bills that were killed in Dec. in Illinois they had alot of pin feathers. washed gently and even blow dried. thanks for the help BOB

might be that you're not getting those feather tracts opened up enough. Are you using a wire wheel and really opening up all the feather tracts? If not...as the skin dries it will pull those feathers out of place. Just some food for thought.
