Does anyone know the laws governing the resale of captive bred mallard ducklings? does the seller need any licences or does it need to be on consignment? any advice helpful... Thank you,

you still need a Federal permit and perhaps a state permit if applicable for Mallards, someone here will definetly know more about this than me as I don't deal with anything federal..my suggestion to you is that if your going to raise ducks..go non-native..you'll get alot more money for a Mandarin and some of the other exotics than you would for a Mallard and it doesn't require any of the federal paperwork or licenses..
