I am going to mount some ducks and was wondering how to use the apex heads. They have preset eyes and a flexible eyering. So do i tuck the real eyelid of the bird under the flexible eyering. I know how to do everything else its just this confuses me on how to put the eye skin up to the preset eyes?

Since the Apex heads are pinnable I just pin the actual lid into place on the artificial head. Most ducks have the fleshy eye rings but they are so small and minute that they have a great deal of shrinkage and won't be noticed when you mount it up.Wood ducks,Whitefronted geese have the fleshier eye rings and those can be easily inverted or folded under and then pinned with excellent results. You can fold under the other eye rings as well but it is not nesscessary.
