I have a full skeleton of a hawk is it legal to mount it?

Hawk possession is illegal

Just a heads up. It is illegal to possess any part of a raptor unless you has a salvage or possession permit from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and your State Game and Fish. You could donate it to a school or nature center that has said permits. Hefty fine involved if caught with the skeleton.

Even one little feather can get you in trouble. I don't like the laws, but they do protect the birds from bad people (none of us here, of course! We all love, respect, and admire birds here!)
