I've read in here that someone (don't rember the name I'm sorry) does falconry - so I figured maybe you guys can help me out. I was wondering how I would go about finding a master falconer in my area?
I'm located in Illinois/Iowa area. And do you normally have to pay them for the training, etc.

they issue permits for Falconry & Wildlife Rehabilitation and would have an available list of Master Falconers
for training you have to exhibit dedication--- falconry is an everyday commitment
