something eating feet

I have a few birds in a show room. I checked them over the weekend ,and have a few that have holes in the web of thre feet.One has been injected with masters blend and one with formaldehyde and glycerin.What is this and hoow do I keep it from happening?

May be some type of 'carpet beetle" larvae. We have all run into the bug problem at some time or another. Look closely and see if there is any small spider like webbing on your birds. I would suggest freezing the whole birds for two weeks or fumigating them. We just burned some of our stuff to keep the bugs from getting the other stuff in our showroom. Start a monthly bug control program!

sounds like Athletes foot, try some Dr. Scholl's foot powder. Was the Duck itching his feet at any time of being mounted?

Roaches

Look for roach droppings in the area.They will also eat duck feet.

Most likley ants. there all over down here.
