tumbler troubles

Has anyone had problems with tumblers slipping. I have a new tumbler from Van Dykes and after a few rotations, the drum will stop spinning with the wheels still turning. I've tried adjusting the wheels in every position available. I've lifted the side opposite the geared axle to put more weight on it, all to no avail. Any suggestions.

If this is the one where a plastic barrel rests on the wheels - you can go to a Home Depot and buy anti slip stair strips. They are the strips you will see on wood or concrete steps that are metal oxide grit - they are on a 3M tape. Tape this to the barrell where the tires contact and you should see the problem go away.

Many Thanks

That should do it. Thanks a lot.
