I have a cockateel. My wife loved him dearly but our dog did not and she always tormented our bird. Well now he has passed died. I am or would like to have a bird expert mount him for my wife. I have tried to mount birds and I do not want to ruin this one. If there is anyone close to me that would do it for us let me know. Maybe I can provide a fish mount for you, Just an idea. Thank You!

Ignore the rude comment made above and do a search under the taxidermist link at the top of the page, you will be able to search your state for taxidermists..Also, many of the top bird taxidermist will take in your mount thru the mail, they will probably request that you freeze and overnite mail such a small bird as this..Patrick Rummins-Montana, Paul Czarnecki of Tri-State Taxidermy in Pa, Frank Newmyer in MI and many others have links to their website thru this site..I think its great that you would want to preserve your wifes bird and wish you luck
