i have a flying pheasant mount that is done drying. it was apparently a close shot as the wings are badly shot up. i have 3 feathers shot off on one wing and 4 on the other. i have another bird in the freezer that i could use for donor feathers but what would be the best method for replacing them or have i already messed up by letting the mount dry? can they just be glued in under the downy wing feathers so the patch doesnt show?
