personally, I'd put them in a bag and freeze them to kill off any mites.
then a gentle bath in water with a small amount of dishwashing liquid if necessary.
you can blow them dry with a blowdryer and fix with your fingers. any broken shafts can be straightened with a steamer. if they are clean to start with , then just store in a clean dry place, like a shoebox.
